Creating your first project

This is a quick step by step guide on creating a new project

What is a project ?

A project is essentially a folder that Frontier uses to hold all of the system's required data. The project also permits users to create independent standalone projects for each of their many use cases.

Good to know: All of your projects are saved in the configuration directory that you had set up when installing Frontier.

To create a project

Steps to follow

  1. Click on the + icon in the Add Project Tile.

  2. Enter the project name in the popup.

  3. Give a description for the project in the popup.

  4. Click on Create Project button.

To view the created project

  1. The main dashboard of frontier contains all the projects that exist in the system.

  2. In the tiles of the dashboard, select the Load Project from the project you created.

  3. The dashboard for the individual project will appear.
